Intel is searching for a new CEO to lead the company into the AI age. The search began after the board ousted Pat Gelsinger in December. The former ASML CEO Eric Meurice and Microchip chairman Steve Sanghi have been added to the board to assist in the search. Analysts and sources believe that an outside candidate is likely to be chosen, but the decision could take several months. External candidates may include Lip-Bu Tan, Matt Murphy, Stacy Smith, Renee James, Johny Srouji, Gregory Bryant, and Kirk Skaugen.
