Tesla and JPMorgan Settle Legal Dispute, Dimon Praises Musk's Leadership

JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon has mended his differences with Tesla chief Elon Musk, resolving a protracted legal battle between the two companies.

Dimon praised Musk's leadership of Tesla, SpaceX, and Neuralink, stating that they had "hugged it out." The dispute originated from Musk's 2018 tweet claiming he had secured funding to take Tesla private.

The largest U.S. lender, JPMorgan, filed a lawsuit against Tesla in 2021, and Tesla countersued in 2023. However, both parties dropped their claims last year.

Dimon also expressed support for Musk's initiative to reduce government spending through the "Department of Government Efficiency" (DOGE), which aims to eliminate federal agencies and cut government jobs. The group has faced legal challenges over its operations.
