Vale to Invest $12.26 Billion in Carajas Complex by 2030

SAO PAULO, Brazil (Reuters) - Brazilian mining giant Vale confirmed Friday a $12.26 billion investment in its Carajas complex in northern Brazil by 2030.

The investment, part of Vale's "New Carajas" plan, aligns with the company's guidance, Vale said in a statement.

The Brazilian presidential palace first announced the planned investment on Wednesday.
