United Rentals Reports Q4 Earnings, Misses on EPS Estimates

United Rentals Inc. (URI) announced a fourth-quarter profit of $689 million, resulting in earnings per share of $10.47. Adjusted for non-recurring and acquisition-related expenses, earnings were $11.59 per share, falling below analyst expectations of $11.77.

Revenue reached $4.1 billion, exceeding estimates of $3.94 billion. For the full year, the company reported profit of $2.58 billion ($38.69 per share) and revenue of $15.35 billion.

United Rentals projects full-year revenue between $15.6 billion and $16.1 billion.
