Sony Announces Hiroki Totoki as CEO, Kenichiro Yoshida Remains Chairman

TOKYO (Reuters) - Hiroki Totoki, President of Sony Group, will assume the role of CEO effective April 1, while current Chairman-CEO Kenichiro Yoshida will continue as Chairman, the company announced on Wednesday.

Totoki, who became President in 2023, has held positions including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer within Sony Group, a leading Japanese conglomerate in entertainment and electronics. Lin Tao will take on the role of CFO, succeeding Totoki.
