Saudi Prince Eyeing TikTok Investment if Musk Acquires

DUBAI - Saudi Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal's investment firm Kingdom Holding (KHC) expresses interest in potentially investing in ByteDance's TikTok if acquired by Elon Musk or other prospective buyers.

This statement was made by KHC CEO Talal Ibrahim al-Maiman during an interview with Al Arabiya TV on Wednesday.

"If Musk or others offered [to buy TikTok], we would have a desire to look into that investment, no doubt," al-Maiman stated.

KHC previously acquired stakes in Musk's social media venture X and his artificial intelligence startup xAI.

The pursuit of a buyer for TikTok continues after its initial closure and subsequent revival following U.S. President Donald Trump's executive order delaying its ban for 75 days. Trump has indicated openness to a potential acquisition by Musk.
