Olin Corp. Reports Q4 Earnings Beat

CLAYTON, Mo. - Olin Corp. (OLN) reported fourth-quarter earnings of $10.7 million, beating Wall Street expectations.

The Clayton, Missouri-based company posted earnings per share of 9 cents, surpassing analysts' average estimate of a 1 cent loss.

Revenue for the quarter was $1.67 billion, also exceeding analysts' forecast of $1.61 billion.

For the year, Olin reported net income of $108.6 million, or 91 cents per share, on revenue of $6.54 billion.

The results reflect strong performance in the company's chlor-alkali and ammunition businesses.
