Norwegian Line Orders Four Cruise Ships from Fincantieri Worth €9 Billion

ROME (Reuters) - Norwegian Line Holdings has placed an order with Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri for four new cruise ships, valuing approximately €9 billion ($9.34 billion), according to a source familiar with the matter.

Fincantieri described the agreement as "very important" and subject to financing and customary terms and conditions.

Each ship will weigh approximately 226,000 tonnes and be constructed at Fincantieri's Monfalcone shipyard in northeastern Italy. The first vessel is scheduled for delivery in 2030.
