Leidos Reports Strong Q4 Earnings, Exceeding Wall Street Expectations

RESTON, Va. - Leidos Holdings Inc. (LDOS) announced net income of $284 million for the fourth quarter, representing a 0.35% increase. Earnings per share reached $2.12, while adjusted earnings, excluding amortization and asset impairment costs, were $2.37 per share.

These results surpassed Wall Street expectations, with analysts at Zacks Investment Research estimating earnings of $2.18 per share. The engineering and security company's revenue also outperformed forecasts, reaching $4.37 billion during the quarter, against an estimated $4.12 billion.

For the full year, Leidos reported a profit of $1.25 billion, translating to $9.22 per share. Revenue for the period totaled $16.66 billion.

Looking ahead, the company projects full-year earnings between $10.35 and $10.75 per share, with projected revenue ranging from $16.9 billion to $17.3 billion.
