Kinross Gold Reports Q4 Net Income Miss, Revenue Beat

TORONTO, March 1 (Reuters) - Kinross Gold Corp. (KGC) reported fourth-quarter net income of $275.6 million on Wednesday, falling short of analysts' expectations.

On a per-share basis, the Toronto-based company reported earnings of 22 cents, while adjusted earnings were 20 cents per share. The consensus estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 23 cents per share.

Kinross' revenue for the quarter came in at $1.42 billion. For the full year, the company reported a profit of $948.8 million, or 77 cents per share, on revenue of $5.15 billion.

The company's shares fell 7.69% to $7.15 in premarket trading following the earnings release.
