Impinj Reports Q4 Loss, Beats Earnings Estimates

SEATTLE, Wash. (AP) - Impinj Inc. (PI) announced a loss of $2.7 million in its fourth quarter on Wednesday. The Seattle-based company reported a loss per share of 9 cents. Adjusted earnings were 48 cents per share, exceeding analysts' expectations.

Analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research had projected earnings of 47 cents per share. Impinj's revenue for the quarter was $91.6 million, falling short of estimates of $92.8 million.

For the full year, the company posted a profit of $40.8 million ($1.39 per share) on revenue of $366.1 million.

Looking ahead, Impinj anticipates per-share earnings of 6-11 cents and revenue of $70-$73 million in the first quarter.
