Imperial Oil Reports Q4 Earnings, Beats EPS Estimates

CALGARY, Alberta (AP) - Imperial Oil Ltd. (IMO) announced fourth-quarter earnings of $875.6 million on Friday. The Calgary, Alberta-based company reported net income of $1.69 per share, exceeding analysts' expectations.

Zacks Investment Research polled three analysts who projected earnings of $1.42 per share. However, IMO's revenue of $9.01 billion missed analysts' forecasts of $11.2 billion, according to the three analysts surveyed by Zacks.

For the full year, the company reported a profit of $3.5 billion, or $6.59 per share, on revenue of $37.61 billion.
