Horace Mann Educators Reports Q4 Earnings: Profit Rises to $38.2 Million
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Horace Mann Educators Corp. (HMN) announced its financial results for the fourth quarter on Wednesday. The company reported a profit of $38.2 million and earnings per share of 92 cents. When adjusted for non-recurring and investment costs, earnings reached $1.62 per share.
During the quarter, the Springfield-based insurer for teachers and educators generated revenue of $409 million. For the full year, Horace Mann reported a profit of $102.8 million and earnings per share of $2.48, with revenue amounting to $1.6 billion.
