GoPro Reports Q4 Loss Smaller Than Expected, Revenue Beats Forecasts

SAN MATEO, Calif. - GoPro Inc. (GPRO) announced a narrower-than-anticipated loss of $37.2 million in its fourth quarter. On a per-share basis, the company reported a loss of 24 cents. Excluding one-time items, the loss was 9 cents per share.

These results surpassed Wall Street's expectations, with analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research estimating a loss of 11 cents per share. GoPro also posted revenue of $200.9 million, exceeding analysts' forecasts of $199.2 million.

For the full year, the action video camera maker reported a loss of $432.3 million ($2.82 per share) on revenue of $801.5 million.
