Google, ServiceNow Team Up to Enhance AI Capabilities on Cloud Platform
Google (GOOG, GOOGL) and ServiceNow (NOW) announce a partnership to integrate ServiceNow's Now Platform with Google's Cloud Marketplace. This collaboration provides enterprises seamless access to ServiceNow's suite of services within Google's cloud ecosystem.
The partnership leverages the companies' existing collaboration, granting ServiceNow customers access to the combined AI capabilities of both organizations. This integration empowers users to automate tasks, enhance security, and effectively manage customer relationships, all within a single platform.
"ServiceNow plus Google Cloud brings the full suite of ServiceNow's workflow automation and AI-driven tools to [Google Cloud Platform]," says ServiceNow CEO Bill McDermott. "This launch on Google Cloud Marketplace and Google Distributed Cloud will address the multibillion-dollar demand for private and public-sector organizations."
ServiceNow users gain the advantage of accessing data from both platforms and specialized AI agents conveniently. For instance, customers can access ServiceNow data seamlessly within Google Workspace, enabling easy data import into tools like Google Docs and Google Sheets.
"We anticipate migrating billions in workloads into [Google Cloud Platform] over time," adds McDermott, highlighting the potential for improved service delivery.
Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian emphasizes the transformative power of agentic AI, a type of AI that utilizes agents capable of executing various tasks autonomously or with user guidance.
"Agentic AI unlocks the potential for unparalleled automation and productivity," explains Kurian. The partnership aims to enhance employee hiring and development by enabling HR departments to cross-reference business development plans with data within Google's cloud, gaining insights into employee performance and growth.
"This integration eliminates silos, promoting automation and productivity enhancements for organizations," concludes Kurian.
ServiceNow plans to commence its launch on Google Cloud Marketplace in the second and third quarters of 2023.
