Fastly Reports Q4 Loss, Revenue Tops Estimates

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Fastly Inc. (FSLY) posted a fourth-quarter loss on Wednesday, missing Wall Street expectations.

The San Francisco-based cloud software developer reported a loss of $32.9 million, or 23 cents per share. Adjusted for one-time items, losses were 3 cents per share, below the consensus estimate of breakeven.

Revenue of $140.6 million surpassed analysts' forecasts of $138.8 million.

For the full year, Fastly reported a loss of $158.1 million, or $1.14 per share, on revenue of $543.7 million.

Looking ahead, Fastly anticipates a first-quarter loss per share between 9 and 5 cents on revenue of $136-$140 million.

For the full year, the company projects a loss of 15-9 cents per share on revenue of $575-$585 million.
