DTE Energy Reports Strong Q4 Earnings, Exceeding Expectations
DETROIT, Mich. (AP) - DTE Energy Co. (DTE) announced its fourth-quarter financial results on Thursday, posting a profit of $292 million.
On a per-share basis, the Detroit-based company reported earnings of $1.41. Adjusted for non-recurring costs, earnings were $1.51 per share. These results surpassed market expectations, as analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research had forecast earnings of $1.46 per share.
For the full year, DTE Energy reported a profit of $1.4 billion, or $6.77 per share. The company anticipates full-year earnings for 2023 in the range of $7.09 to $7.23 per share.
