Citigroup Scraps Mandatory Diverse Interview Slate Policy

Citigroup will discontinue the requirement for diverse candidate slates for job interviews, according to an internal memo released by CEO Jane Fraser. This move comes amid a shift in corporate America's approach to diversity and inclusion under the Trump administration.

The bank will eliminate "aspirational representation goals" except where mandated by local laws. Additionally, the "Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Talent Management" team will be renamed to "Talent Management and Engagement."

This decision was previously reported by Bloomberg News and the Financial Times.
