Bill Ackman Reincorporates Management Company in Nevada
Billionaire investor Bill Ackman, founder of Pershing Square, has announced the reincorporation of his management company in Nevada. Ackman stated that leading law firms highly recommend Nevada and Texas over Delaware for such matters.
This announcement follows the relocation of Elon Musk's companies, Tesla, SpaceX, and Neuralink, to Texas and Nevada, respectively. Musk's decision to leave Delaware was influenced by a court order mandating him to relinquish his $56 billion compensation package.
Pershing Square declined further comment beyond Ackman's initial statement.
