Amkor Technology Reports Q4 Earnings, Beats EPS Expectations, Misses Revenue Targets

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Amkor Technology Inc. (AMKR) announced fourth-quarter earnings of $105.6 million, or 43 cents per share, exceeding analysts' estimates. Zacks Investment Research had projected earnings of 37 cents per share.

Revenue for the period amounted to $1.63 billion, slightly below the $1.65 billion consensus forecast from three analysts surveyed by Zacks.

For the full year, Amkor recorded a profit of $354 million, or $1.43 per share, on revenue of $6.32 billion.

Regarding the current quarter ending in March, the company anticipates revenue between $1.23 billion and $1.33 billion.

Amkor Technology shares have declined 5% year-to-date. In Monday's closing minutes, they fell to $24.36, marking a 19% drop over the past 12 months.
