American Superconductor Reports Q3 Profit

AYER, Mass. - American Superconductor Corp. (AMSC) reported a $2.5 million net income for its fiscal third quarter, reversing a loss from the same period last year.

EPS amounted to 6 cents, with adjusted EPS (excluding stock option and amortization expenses) reaching 16 cents. Revenue for the quarter was $61.4 million.

AMSC anticipates revenue in the range of $59-63 million for the current quarter ending in March.

Since the start of the year, AMSC shares have seen a 4% increase. Closing price on Wednesday reached $25.52, marking a more than 100% rise in the past year.
