Nike, Chipotle Stake Shifts by Ackman
Bill Ackman's Pershing Square Capital increased its position in sports apparel giant Nike by 15% during Q4. The firm now holds 18.8 million Nike shares.
Conversely, Ackman's stake in restaurant chain Chipotle Mexican Grill decreased by 14%. Pershing Square currently owns 24.7 million Chipotle shares, having consistently reduced its investment in the company.
Ackman, once a vocal corporate activist, has adopted a more passive approach in recent years. However, his investment decisions continue to garner attention. The firm's reduced stake in Chipotle suggests a shift in investment strategy.
In addition to Nike and Chipotle, Pershing Square also decreased its holding in Hilton Worldwide by 26%. Its largest holding remains investment firm Brookfield with approximately 35 million shares.
