Waste Connections Reports Mixed Q4, Misses Earnings Estimates
Ontario, Ontario (AP) - Waste Connections Inc. (WCN) announced a net loss of $196 million in its fourth quarter, or 76 cents per share.
Adjusted for one-time items, earnings came in at $1.16 per share, falling short of analysts' expectations of $1.20 per share.
Revenue for the quarter totaled $2.26 billion, exceeding estimates of $2.24 billion.
For the full year, Waste Connections reported net income of $617.6 million ($2.39 per share) on revenue of $8.92 billion.
The company projects full-year revenue in the range of $9.45 billion to $9.6 billion for 2023.
