WAB Misses Earnings and Revenue Estimates in Q4
PITTSBURGH, March 15 (Reuters) - Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corp. (WAB) reported fourth-quarter earnings of $212 million, or $1.23 per share, on Wednesday. Adjusted for non-recurring costs, earnings were $1.68 per share.
The results fell short of Wall Street expectations, with analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research forecasting earnings of $1.73 per share.
Revenue for the quarter was $2.58 billion, also below analysts' consensus estimate of $2.59 billion.
For the full year, Wabtec reported earnings of $1.06 billion, or $6.04 per share, on revenue of $10.39 billion.
Looking ahead, the company projects full-year earnings in the range of $8.35 to $8.75 per share, with revenue expected between $10.73 billion and $11.03 billion.
