Vital Energy Reports Q4 Loss, Misses on Revenue
TULSA, Okla., Jan. 25, 2023 – Vital Energy, Inc. (VTLE) reported a fourth-quarter loss of $359.4 million, or $9.59 per share. Excluding one-time items, earnings were $2.30 per share, surpassing analysts' estimates of $2.16.
Despite strong earnings, revenue fell short of expectations. The company reported $534.4 million in revenue, missing analysts' forecasts of $559.6 million.
"While earnings exceeded expectations, our revenue fell short of projections," said CEO John Doe. "We remain focused on improving operational efficiency and executing our long-term growth strategy."
