US IPO Market Rebounds Post-Election, Says NYSE President

According to New York Stock Exchange President Lynn Martin, the US initial public offering (IPO) market is experiencing a resurgence following the election.

Martin highlighted increased IPO activity in a Bloomberg TV interview, with deals materializing for the near future and beyond. She attributed this to the positive reception of President Donald Trump's tax cuts and deregulation plans, despite some concerns about potential tariffs.

Martin's meeting with Trump was described as encouraging, emphasizing the administration's focus on economic growth and strength. "The pro-growth agenda is front and center," she said, referring to Trump.

However, Martin acknowledged headwinds related to geopolitical tensions, tariffs, and inflation, and noted that some potential market entrants may prefer to observe further deal flow before proceeding.
