TikTok Deal Optimism
General Atlantic CEO Bill Ford, a board member of TikTok's parent company, expressed optimism about reaching an agreement to keep TikTok operating in the US. US President Donald Trump issued an executive order delaying a TikTok ban by 75 days, originally set for January 19th. "The objective is for TikTok to continue operating," Ford stated at the World Economic Forum in Davos. "I'm optimistic we can address US security concerns without selling the company." General Atlantic is also an investor in TikTok's parent company.
