Tesla Revamps Model Y with Enhanced Features and Bold Design

Tesla has unveiled an updated version of the Model Y in the US and Europe, boasting a revamped exterior, refreshed interior, and enhanced suspension tuning. The "Launch Series" model, available in all-wheel drive, starts at $59,990 before incentives and offers leasing options from $699 per month with $2,999 down.

The new Model Y follows Tesla's recent update to the Model 3 sedan, which was well-received by consumers. It features Cybertruck-inspired light bars front and rear, signaling a new design language.

Tesla's decision to update its product range could bolster sales, following a challenging 2023 marked by delivery shortfalls and overall decline. The company has pledged the launch of a lower-priced EV in 2025, along with new vehicles aimed at driving growth.

Investors will be closely monitoring Tesla's upcoming Q4 and full-year results, expected after the market close on January 29.
