Despite the day's rise, the markets have experienced mixed performance this week. The S&P 500 is down 0.5% for the week, while the Nasdaq has lost 1.1%. For the year, the S&P 500 has gained 3.2%, the Dow has risen 5.4%, the Nasdaq has advanced 2.2%, and the Russell 2000 has climbed 2.6%.
