Standard Chartered Appoints Sal Vitale as Managing Director and Head of Coverage for the U.S. and the Americas

New York, NY – Standard Chartered has announced the appointment of Sal Vitale as Managing Director and Head of Coverage for the U.S. and the Americas.

Vitale joins Standard Chartered with nearly 25 years of experience in corporate and investment banking. He most recently served as Managing Director and Head of U.S. Corporate Coverage at Deutsche Bank. Prior to this, Vitale spent over 15 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he held various roles in corporate and investment banking, as well as debt capital markets, specializing in energy, power, and industrial clients.

In his newly created role, Vitale will lead efforts to enhance Standard Chartered's coverage capabilities, connecting corporate and financial institution clients to the bank's global network. Based in New York, Vitale will report to senior management across Global Corporate and Financial Institutions coverage, as well as to Steven Cranwell, CEO of the U.S. and the Americas.
