Southwest Airlines appoints Tom Doxey as Chief Financial Officer

DALLAS, March 6, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV) today announced the appointment of Tom Doxey as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective March 10, 2023. Doxey, a seasoned aviation industry executive with a proven track record of financial leadership, will succeed Tammy Romo, who announced her retirement in January after a distinguished 30-year career with Southwest Airlines.

Doxey joins Southwest from Breeze Airways, where he served as President. Prior to that, he held various leadership roles at Allegiant Air and US Airways, including Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis and Director of Fleet Management.
