Silicon Labs Reports Q4 Loss, Exceeds Revenue Expectations
AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Silicon Laboratories Inc. (SLAB) announced a fourth-quarter loss of $23.8 million, meeting market expectations. On a per-share basis, the company reported a loss of $0.73. Adjusted for certain expenses, the loss amounted to $0.11 per share.
Revenue for the quarter totaled $166.2 million, surpassing analysts' projections of $166.1 million. For the full year, Silicon Labs recorded a loss of $191 million ($5.93 per share) and revenue of $584.4 million.
Looking ahead, the company anticipates a loss per share of $0.19 to earnings per share of $0.01 for the current quarter ending in March.
