Scorpio Tankers Reports Q4 Earnings Beat, Revenue Miss
Scorpio Tankers Inc. (STNG) reported fourth-quarter earnings of $68.6 million on Wednesday, translating to $1.43 per share.
Adjusted for non-recurring gains, earnings were 63 cents per share, exceeding Wall Street expectations of 49 cents per share as per four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research.
The shipping company generated revenue of $204 million during the period, while its adjusted revenue reached $192.1 million, falling short of the $196.7 million projection made by four analysts polled by Zacks.
Annually, the company recorded a profit of $668.8 million ($13.15 per share) on revenue amounting to $1.21 billion.
