Roper Technologies Surpasses Wall Street Estimates with Strong Growth Outlook

Roper Technologies has forecasted its annual revenue growth to exceed Wall Street's expectations, indicating robust demand for its specialized software solutions.

Headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, Roper has solidified its position as a leading provider of software and automated solutions in various industries, including healthcare, transportation, and education. Its acquisitions have played a significant role in its growth strategy.

In 2024, Roper acquired Procare Solutions and Transact Campus, cloud-based software providers targeting early childhood education centers and higher education institutions, respectively. CEO Neil Hunn attributes the company's double-digit revenue growth outlook for 2025 to enhanced organic growth and the contributions from these acquisitions.

According to LSEG data, Roper anticipates annual revenue growth of over 10%, surpassing analysts' estimates of 9.6%. Its projected annual adjusted profit per share is $19.75 to $20.00, compared to estimates of $20.06. For the first quarter, Roper forecasts adjusted profit per share between $4.70 and $4.74, while estimates stand at $4.84.

In its fourth-quarter financial results, Roper reported a revenue increase of approximately 16% to $1.88 billion, marginally exceeding estimates of $1.84 billion. Adjusted profit per share for the quarter ended December 31, 2022, reached $4.81, beating expectations of $4.73.
