Republic Services Reports Strong Q4 Earnings, Beats Estimates
Republic Services Inc. (RSG) reported a fourth-quarter profit of $512 million, translating to earnings per share of $1.63. Excluding asset impairment gains, adjusted earnings were $1.58 per share, surpassing Wall Street expectations of $1.37 per share.
Despite exceeding analyst estimates for earnings, Republic Services' revenue of $4.05 billion fell short of the forecast of $4.08 billion.
For the full year, the waste management company anticipates earnings between $6.82 and $6.90 per share, with revenue ranging from $16.85 billion to $16.95 billion.
