Petronas Transfers Kebabangan Cluster Rights to ConocoPhillips

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Petronas announced the official transfer of its contractual rights for the Kebabangan Cluster in Sabah, Malaysia, to a subsidiary of ConocoPhillips on Thursday.

The Kebabangan Cluster encompasses oil, condensate, and gas fields previously operated jointly by Petronas, ConocoPhillips, and Shell. This agreement grants sole operatorship to ConocoPhillips Sabah Gas, ensuring energy security through operations extending to 2050.

Petronas disclosed that the project boasts an export capacity of up to 750 million standard cubic feet of gas per day.
