Peloton Q2 Earnings Miss Estimates: Loss Widens to $92M

Peloton Interactive Inc. (PTON) reported a wider-than-expected loss for its fiscal second quarter on Thursday. The New York-based company recorded a net loss of $92 million, or 24 cents per share, undershooting analysts' expectations.

According to Zacks Investment Research, the consensus estimate was for a loss of 19 cents per share. However, Peloton's revenue topped forecasts, coming in at $673.9 million. This exceeded the $655.2 million anticipated by seven analysts polled by Zacks.

For the current quarter ending in March, Peloton expects revenue between $605 million and $625 million. The company also provided its full-year revenue guidance, projecting a range of $2.43 billion to $2.48 billion.
