PayPal Q4 Earnings Beat Expectations

PayPal Holdings Inc. (PYPL) reported fourth-quarter earnings of $1.12 billion, or $1.11 per share. Adjusted for non-recurring costs, earnings came in at $1.19 per share, surpassing analyst estimates of $1.13.

Revenue for the quarter reached $8.37 billion, also exceeding expectations of $8.23 billion.

For the full year, PayPal reported a profit of $4.15 billion, or $3.99 per share, on revenue of $31.8 billion.

Looking ahead, the company expects per-share earnings for the current quarter ending in March to range from $1.15 to $1.17 and full-year earnings between $4.95 and $5.10 per share.
