Pan American Silver Reports Strong Q4 Earnings, Exceeding Expectations
VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) - Pan American Silver Corp. (PAAS) announced fourth-quarter net income of $107.8 million, translating to earnings per share of 30 cents.
Adjusted for non-recurring expenses, earnings reached 35 cents per share, in line with analysts' expectations. Eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research had predicted earnings of 35 cents per share.
Revenue for the quarter amounted to $815.1 million, surpassing the $805.2 million forecasted by seven analysts from Zacks.
For the full year, Pan American Silver recorded profit of $112.7 million, or 31 cents per share, on revenue of $2.82 billion.
