Intel stock plunged 6% Wednesday after analysts expressed skepticism over reports of potential deals with TSMC and Broadcom. Intel shares surged 16% Tuesday on news TSMC was considering controlling some or all of Intel's semiconductor factories. However, analysts say a TSMC-Intel deal could face regulatory scrutiny, and it wouldn't make sense for TSMC to take control of Intel's manufacturing facilities due to separate manufacturing processes.
