Nokia Appoints Justin Hotard as New CEO
Nokia has announced the appointment of Justin Hotard as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2023. Hotard currently serves as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Intel's Data Center & AI Group.
The move aims to diversify Nokia's market and tap into growing sectors like artificial intelligence. Hotard boasts a proven track record in driving growth for tech companies and expertise in AI and data center markets, crucial for Nokia's future aspirations.
Pekka Lundmark, who has led Nokia since 2020, will transition to an advisory role until年底。 Nokia previously denied rumors of a CEO search in September.
"This leadership change was planned when Lundmark expressed his desire to explore new executive roles once the business repositioning reached a more advanced stage and a suitable successor was identified," stated Sari Baldauf, Nokia's Chair.
