Molina Healthcare Reports Fourth-Quarter Earnings Miss
LONG BEACH, Calif. (AP) - Molina Healthcare Inc. (MOH) announced fourth-quarter earnings of $251 million on Wednesday, falling short of analyst expectations.
Earnings per share (EPS) were reported at $4.44, while adjusted EPS came in at $5.05. Wall Street analysts had projected EPS of $5.81.
The Medicaid-related healthcare provider reported revenue of $10.5 billion for the quarter, meeting Street estimates.
For the full year, Molina posted a profit of $1.18 billion, or $20.42 per share, on revenue of $40.65 billion.
The company expects full-year earnings to reach $24.50 per share.
