KKR Prepares to Sell BMC Helix for $2 Billion

KKR & Co. is reportedly preparing to sell BMC Helix, a provider of information technology management solutions, in a transaction that could value the company at approximately $2 billion, including debt.

Sources familiar with the matter have disclosed that KKR is collaborating with advisors to divest the business, which was separated from BMC Software in 2022.

BMC Helix specializes in software tools that oversee and manage an organization's entire technology stack, competing with firms like ServiceNow Inc.

Discussions are ongoing, and a deal is not guaranteed. Representatives from both BMC and KKR have declined to comment.
