Hexcel Reports Strong Q4 Earnings, Surpassing Analyst Expectations

STAMFORD, Conn. — Hexcel Corp. (HXL) reported fourth-quarter earnings of $5.8 million, or 7 cents per share, on Wednesday. Adjusted earnings per share reached 52 cents.

The results exceeded Wall Street forecasts, with analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research predicting earnings of 51 cents per share. Revenue for the period totaled $473.8 million, also above the Street's $470.9 million estimate.

For the full year, Hexcel reported profit of $132.1 million, or $1.59 per share. Revenue for the period was $1.9 billion.

Looking ahead, Hexcel anticipates full-year earnings in the range of $2.05 to $2.25 per share and revenue between $1.95 billion and $2.05 billion.
