Google, ServiceNow Partner to Bring AI Capabilities to Cloud Marketplace

Google (GOOG, GOOGL) and ServiceNow (NOW) have announced plans to integrate ServiceNow's Now Platform into Google's Cloud Marketplace. This integration will provide enterprises with access to ServiceNow's suite of services through Google's Cloud system.

The partnership builds upon the companies' existing collaboration and will enable ServiceNow customers to utilize both companies' AI capabilities in a single platform for tasks related to customer relationship management, security, and IT.

"We are combining ServiceNow and Google Cloud to offer the full suite of ServiceNow's workflow automation and AI-powered tools on [Google Cloud Platform]," said ServiceNow CEO Bill McDermott. "ServiceNow will launch on the Google Cloud Marketplace and Google Distributed Cloud to address the multibillion-dollar demand for both private and public-sector organizations."

The integration allows ServiceNow users to seamlessly access data from both platforms and specialized AI agents. For example, ServiceNow will allow customers to access data from within Google's Workspace, simplifying data integration into Google Docs and Google Sheets.

According to Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian, the partnership enables users to leverage agentic AI, which leverages AI agents to perform automated or supervised tasks. "We believe that agentic AI is crucial for unlocking automation and productivity," said Kurian.

The collaboration is expected to enhance employee hiring and development processes by allowing human resources departments to cross-reference business development plans with Google Cloud data, providing insights into employee performance and growth.

ServiceNow will begin launching on Google Cloud Marketplace throughout the second and third quarters of 2023.
