MCLEAN, Va. - Gladstone Investment Corp. (GAIN) announced a net income of $38.5 million for the fiscal third quarter, a 1.26% decline. On a per-share basis, the company reported earnings of $1.05.
Adjusted for investment gains, earnings amounted to 23 cents per share, falling short of the 24 cents per share estimate from analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research.
Revenue for the quarter was $21.4 million, also below the $23.1 million forecast by analysts.
