Foxconn Eyes Collaboration with Nissan, Not Acquisition

In a recent statement, Foxconn Chairman Young Liu emphasized that the company seeks partnership opportunities with Nissan, not a takeover. This announcement comes amid Nissan's withdrawal from merger talks with Honda and potential collaborations with Foxconn.

Foxconn, renowned as the world's largest contract electronics manufacturer and Apple's primary iPhone producer, is not interested in acquiring Nissan, according to Liu. Instead, Foxconn aims to explore cooperative ventures.

Additionally, Foxconn is considering collaborations with Renault, given its stake in Nissan. This strategic move highlights Foxconn's focus on expanding its presence in the automotive industry.
