Q4 Results for FIS Surpass Expectations

Fidelity National Information Services Inc. (FIS) reported a fourth-quarter net income of $281 million, translating to earnings per share (EPS) of 52 cents. However, adjusted for non-recurring and merger-related costs, EPS reached $1.40.

This exceeded analysts' expectations, with an average estimate of $1.35 per share from a Zacks poll. Despite missing revenue forecasts of $2.63 billion, FIS recorded revenue of $2.6 billion.

For the full year, the company reported a profit of $1.45 billion ($2.61 per share) and revenue of $10.13 billion.

Looking ahead, FIS projects Q1 EPS between $1.17 and $1.22, with revenue ranging from $2.49 billion to $2.51 billion. Full-year estimates indicate earnings between $5.70 and $5.80 per share, alongside revenue in the $10.44 billion to $10.5 billion range.
