Farmers National Banc Corp. Reports Strong Q4 Earnings, Tops Expectations

Canfield, Ohio - Farmers National Banc Corp. (FMNB) announced its fourth-quarter earnings on Wednesday, reporting $14.4 million in net income. This translates to earnings per share of 38 cents on a GAAP basis, and 39 cents per share after adjusting for merger and acquisition-related costs and non-recurring expenses.

The results exceeded analysts' expectations, with the consensus estimate from three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research projecting earnings of 34 cents per share. FMNB's revenue for the quarter totaled $69.3 million, with net interest revenue reaching $44.2 million, both surpassing Street forecasts.

For the full year, the company reported a net income of $45.9 million, or $1.22 per share, on revenue of $170.1 million.
