Extreme Networks Reports Q2 Profit of $7.4 Million

Morrisville, N.C. - Extreme Networks Inc. (EXTR) announced a second-quarter profit of $7.4 million. On a per-share basis, the Morrisville, North Carolina-based company reported earnings of 6 cents. Excluding one-time gains and costs, earnings came in at 21 cents per share.

Extreme Networks, a provider of network infrastructure equipment, recorded revenue of $279.4 million in the quarter.

For the current quarter ending in March, Extreme Networks projects per-share earnings of 16-20 cents. The company anticipates revenue between $276 million and $284 million for the fiscal third quarter.
